Catherine Bell, an athletic and tall actress was born in London. When she was young, her mother moved her family from London to Los Angeles. While pursuing a pre-med degree in the college system, she opted to pursue a modeling career in Japan. Following a stint in commercials the model returned to L.A. to made guest television appearances as well as do a little film work. In 1992, she was Isabella Rosellini's naked body double in the movie Death Is Her and was introduced to her spouse Adam Deason on the set. Her interest was sparked by small appearances on the NBC drama JAG. JAG was transferred to CBS in 1996 and she was promoted to Major Sarah "Mac" Mac, who was the sidekick of Lieutenant. David James Elliott played Commander Harmon "Harm Rabb." A real-life skater and kickboxer and snowboarder, her skills in the sport paved the way for physically demanding parts in the action movies Men of War, Crash Dive as well as Black Thunder.
