Ina Garten is an acclaimed American cookbook author as well as an Emmy Award-winning host on Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa that began in 2002 and aired 27 seasons until 2020. Ina started writing Nuclear energy and policy documents to the White House. While she initially found the work interesting and stimulating but she quickly became bored. Barefoot Contessa was then bought. Her store was extremely successful for 18 years, until she made the decision to close it. She then began the first book. After that, several books were released and she also contributed to magazine articles. The Food Network television program also debuted and quickly became popular. Ina sells a variety of things, from food ingredients food preparation to kitchenware, storage and even cooking equipment. Ina is a self-taught cook that hasn't attended a cooking school, nor employed in the kitchen. Ina is well-known for her straightforward method of cooking, and her effortless entertaining. The most well-known recipes include Skillet - Roasted lemon Chicken Mac and Cheese, Beef bourguignon, Mac and cheese, Beatty's Chocolate Cake and Lemon Bars.
