Hayley Orrantia, an American actor, singer and songwriter. A lot of people recognize her from her character in the role of Erica Goldberg on the popular show on television The Goldbergs.' She believes that she is the best musician of all. Music is her first love that she insists on; it's something she's dabbled in since she was only 9 years old. As she grew to 12 old, the art of music was taken seriously enough to warrant professional training. She began songwriting when she was 13 and was 14 when she recorded her debut album of covers songs. And the rest is history. Orrantia has been born in the USA but has Hispanic origins. She is proud of the reality that she is a native of Hispanic roots, even though she was raised speaking English exclusively and has never lived in Mexico. To preserve the heritage, she is learning Spanish. She also creates songs using the language. She recorded a Spanish version of a song, titled 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia was selected to audition for the X Factor's inaugural season during the summer of 2011. Orrantia won the first season of The X Factor when she uploaded a YouTube recording of her audition. The judge gave her an impressive four "yes" vote of the judge in the live stage audition in Seattle. She initially auditioned in the show "Hollywood Week" in a one-on-one capacity. But, three female singers along with her were brought together for auditions of other songs. The group was eliminated at the fifth week of live show.
