Hayley Orantia is American actress, musician and acrobat. Many people recognize her as Erica Goldberg, from the television comedy 'The Goldbergs. She is primarily an actor. According to her, music is her first passion. It's something she has been dabbling at since she was 9 years old. As she grew to the age of 12, the music she was playing took on a serious nature and she began to train professionally. The year 2013 saw her take on songwriting and produced her first album. There hasn't been a turning around ever since. Orrantia is of Hispanic heritage, yet was born in the USA. Although she never lived or spoken Spanish in Mexico, she still feels strongly proud of her Hispanic culture. In order to maintain it, she has learned Spanish and composed songs using the language. "Hasta Verte," which she composed in Spanish is an example of this. Orrantia tried out for The X Factor in 2011. The Orrantia's YouTube video was selected and she was awarded four "yeses" which is a vote by the judges at the Seattle audition. Her initial audition was to be a part of "Hollywood Week" in a one-on-one capacity. But, three female singers along with her were put together to audition the rest of her tracks. The group was eliminated at the fifth week of the live performance.
