Luciana Paoluzzi was born in Rome and was raised with her family. The father of her was Manlio Paoluzzi, an Italian officer of the army. Maria Rota Paoluzzi was one of the mistresses of Benito Mussolini. Her siblings aren't known. Luciana was a student at the high school in her town, and after graduating in 1955 studied Naval Engineering at the Scientific Academy of Milan. It was her only female within the class. In two years, she started her modeling career. After a while, she got a chance to appear in Three Coins in the Fountain while in Rome visiting the friend of her father. Brett Halsey - an actor who was her first partner. They made Return to the Peyton Palace in the year 1960 after they tied the knot. The couple had the birth of a son called Charles born on 13 June 1961 but divorced a year after his birth and Luciana was granted custody. Between 1962 and the year 1970 Luciana dated Tony Athony, an actor and producer. Tony was inspired by her work in the movie Green Slime and based on the script he wrote as well as his own hybrid Spaghetti Western for which he became somewhat popular.
