Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She runs and owns Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, in which she trains athletes. Annie is the only woman in history to have won at the CrossFit Games two times. The CrossFit Games were her second place CrossFit Games in 2010 and the 2014 edition. Annie Thorisdottir is the Icelander weightlifter, CrossFit competitor and media star is one of the CrossFit athletes from Iceland. The media has praised her for being the only woman ever to win two CrossFit Games: in 2011 and 2012. In 2013 and 2017 she was the winner of her first Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie and her parents and siblings were all born and raised within Reykjavik Iceland. Being an avid sportsman and fitness enthusiast since at an early age, Annie participated in numerous school competitions and was awarded numerous medals. Her first competition was CrossFit in California in the year 2009. She did well during her first competitions. Annie Thorisdottir is 31 years of age (as at 2021). She stands at 5'7" and she weighs around 67kg. Annie began with her CrossFit experience in 2009 California. Annie was able to do very well in the initial matches. Annie was ranked among the top 10 out of more than 70. She did not take home an award and ended with a 11th-place finish in the event. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Coach Jami Tikannen guided her to an overall second place at the CrossFit Games, and a medal of silver in that year. Because of her impressive performance, she managed to win the CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. In 2012 Annie again won the CrossFit Games because of her exceptional performance and was the first female athlete who has won twice in CrossFit Games consecutively. In 2014, she also took home a gold. Then in 2021 she took home the bronze medal. Annie is a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik. It was the idea of her.
