Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actress, activist for animals and author who won several awards. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 72 are among her most famous movies. When she was in New York, she was born and raised into an artistic family. She started as a photographic assistant and then moved on to acting and modeling. MacGraw was noticed in her two first films and won the Golden Globe Award for Most Promising Newcomer. MacGraw became a household name following the success of her 1970 film Love Story. She was considered for nomination to an Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. In just three films MacGraw became the most popular female box office actress in the entire world. In Grauman's Chinese Theater in the year 1972, she got her signature and hand-footprints engraved. The other films she has appeared on include The Getaway Convoy Players, the miniseries on TV The Winds of War and others. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography by her, came out. MacGraw is divorced three times.
